Dakota Access Pipeline Company Attacks Native American Protesters with Dogs & Pepper Spray
On September 3, the Dakota Access pipeline company attacked Native Americans with dogs and pepper spray as they protested against the $3.8 billion pipeline’s construction. If completed, the pipeline would carry about 500,000 barrels of crude per day from North Dakota’s Bakken oilfield to Illinois. The project has faced months of resistance from the Standing Rock Sioux tribe and members of nearly 100 more tribes from across the U.S. and Canada.

The Powerful Interests Backing the Dakota Access Pipeline

Dakota Access Pipeline Update: Jill Stein Wanted, Protesters Attacked, Construction Halted
In this segment we update you all on the status of the #DakotaAccessPipeline, a project that would transport thousands of gallons of crude oil daily and not only threaten the drinking water of millions of Americans, but violate the sovereignty of a Native American tribe. As of now, Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka are wanted in the state of North Dakota. Also, protesters were attacked by guard dogs of mercenaries hired by the oil company; but ultimately, they won, as President Obama ordered the construction of the project to be halted.

Anonymous – Warning to DAPL(Dakota Access Pipeline) and the National Guard #OpNoDapl
The time to act is now! We, the Anonymous Agents, are going to act. The national guard said this morning that they have permission to attack the peaceful protesters. Not only that, but they have gased, and injured multiple, and for what? Exercising their rights to protest, a first amendment right. It is clear now that the constitution means nothing! The Dakota Access pipeline is what broke the camels back, not only is the media trying to cover this up, but they are actually demonizing the protesters, who, have done nothing wrong. Kelcy Warren, we know where you live, everyone you know, and everything there is to know about you. But, that isn’t very threatening, is it?

Iowa Landowners Sue to Stop Dakota Access Construction, Say Pipeline Provides No Public Service
In addition to facing large-scale resistance by Indigenous activists in North Dakota, the Dakota Access pipeline is also facing legal resistance in Iowa, one of four states through which it passes. We go to Des Moines to speak with Bill Hanigan, an attorney representing 15 Iowa landowners who are contesting the project’s use of eminent domain under the guise that it would provide a public service, even as it threatens to pollute the state’s farmland and water supplies.

Tribal Protesters Say Dakota Pipeline is Part of Global Problem
Lakota Sioux Indians and their supporters across the country are celebrating the U.S. federal government’s decision to temporarily halt construction of a $3.8 billion oil pipeline that would cross treaty land seized from the Standing Rock Sioux Nation decades ago. But the issue is far from settled.

In Dramatic Reversal, White House Halts Dakota Access Pipeline Construction Under Missouri River
To discuss Friday’s district court ruling in the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s lawsuit against the U.S. government to stop the Dakota Access pipeline, and the White House’s dramatic intervention less than an hour later, we go to Standing Rock to speak with Standing Rock Sioux Chairman Dave Archambault. We are also joined by attorney Jan Hasselman, who brought the tribe’s case to federal court.

Solar Radiation and Cosmic Rays on the rise? – JD Oklahoma
I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on ultraviolet radiation but I can tell when something is not right. Over the past several years I have noticed a not so subtle change in the sunlight. It’s mainly the feeling of additional warmth from the sun, observation of objects left outside in direct sunlight, and effects on plant life.

Navajo Nation sues the EPA for negligence after being poisoned by contaminated waters
In August 2015, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) came in with contractors to drain the toxic Gold King Mine near Silverton, Colorado. When they failed to control the toxic sludge, the dam ruptured uncontrollably. Instantly, millions of gallons of heavily polluted water burst from the mine, spilling into the majestic Animas and San Juan Rivers. The once beautiful waters turned putrid yellow. The chemicals, heavy metals and uranium dispersed, traveling into Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. The water from the river was no longer safe to drink or use for crop irrigation.
